Monday 9/4 – Labor Day
Tuesday 9/5
- Due Thursday 9/7 – Syllabus signature. You need to read through the entire syllabus, follow the link to “sign” it, and complete the attached survey.
- Due Friday 9/8 – Your Interactive Science Notebook. This notebook must come to class with you on Friday, and it must meet these requirements:
- Spiral bound
- 8.5″ x 11″ pages
- At least 100 pages
- College ruled
- Used for Biology ONLY
- If it doesn’t have pockets, you need a folder as well
- If you are unable to get a notebook by Friday, please let Ms. Lassar know ASAP.

Friday 9/8
- Due Monday 9/11 – Number the first 100 pages in your ISN. The numbers MUST be on the bottom outside edge of each page – follow this model to see where they go.
- Due Monday 9/11 – Tape the first three reference pages in your ISN AND highlight/underline the important information on each page.

- Notes may be in any format. (Cornell notes, outline, freeform, etc.)
- Notes must be more than a list of definitions.
- Notes must cover all of the content in an assigned section.
- Notes must be in your dedicated note notebook (not your class notebook/binder)
- Due Thursday 9/7 – Class materials. For this class, you need a notebook and folder for class (or use can use a binder), and you need a separate notebook for the notes you’ll take from the textbook.
